Introduction
Earth and man are two indissoluble elements of the same reason:

LIFE

Le Magnolie Farmhouse extends on 27 hectares, it is placed on the top of a hill at about 300 meters on the level of the sea and it is at about 25 km both from the sea and the mountains.

Thanks to the special placing of the Farmhouse, due both to the kind of land (argillaceous calcareous), and to the Mediterranean climate, it is possible to cultivate from olives to kiwi, passing to grain, a blooming garden, saffron and a wood planted 5 years ago. The area where the Farmhouse is placed is windy and cool in the summer, and comparatively harsh in the winter.

The Farmhouse is led with the respect of Four Rules and with the care of "the good father of the family". This is the way history and rural culture has always been.

  1. Produce with times and methods which have the primary purpose of the safeguard of the territory and how much related to it.
  2. Quality is not only what we produce but the way we do it.
  3. Biological enrichment is a purpose to be pursued and be left in inheritance.
  4. Respect for traditions is a very important link, but it doesn't mean ultra-conservatism.

To conform it to the first rule, our farm since many years has led the agriculture with biological method, certified and controlled by an institute recognized by the Ministry of Agriculture, to the senses of the CEE law. Furthermore thanks to a regional law, our farm has forbidden hunting on its extent.

Our main purpose has always been to produce according to quality methods. To certify our job there is a DOP (Denomination of Protected Origin) discipline to which our farm agrees, so to obtain a certified extra virgin olive oil.

The kind of plants planted since 1986, year of foundation of Le Magnolie, are:

  • Olive Trees 3300;
  • Kiwi 2500;
  • Woods on 11 hectares with 15000 plants and 22 kind of plants belonging to the Mediterranean vegetation;

The forming of 2 km of hedges.

Up to today we can count:

  • specialized olive trees extended on 11 hectares with 4214 plants;
  • kiwi on 2 hectares with 2500 plants;
  • woods on 11 hectares with 15000 plants;
  • 1 hectare for the production of cereals used in the kitchen to prepare pasta and bread;
